Unique Twitter Account Sheds Light On Unsolved Mystery

Bill Comeans was just 14 when he was murdered 34 years ago.
His killer has never been found.
But his family is now channeling their pain into positive action.
"I miss him everyday," said Kathleen Comeans. "When I was growing up, I followed him around everywhere, I was his little shadow," she added, laughing.
She was just nine years old on January 7, 1980, a day that forever changed their close-knit family.
"I can remember the night that we found out, the same feelings are there."
Her big brother Bill was found a block away from their West Columbus home, strangled with his own scarf.
"He's physically not here, but he's still with us," she said.  "His memories are still with us."
After 34 years, the family is still hoping to find his killer.
They've turned to social media to get the word out.
Kathleen even created a You Tube tribute to her brother, but this year, she thought she needed to do more.
"I was sitting there thinking, what else can be done? What haven't I tried?" she wondered.
Now, the family is taking that public plea one step farther, with a powerful twitter message.
It's posted in Bill's name and written in the first person, as if Bill is actually speaking from the grave.
It reads:  "34 years ago today, I was murdered. I was 14 years old and had my entire life to live. My family is still looking for my killer."
Kathleen is now proud to be her brother's voice.
"I don't want him to be forgotten," she added.  "Whoever murdered him is out there, so somebody knows something, and Bill's got a story to tell, and we'll use whatever means to tell it."
She says she owes it to her brother, who would have turned 49 years old on January 11th.
It's testament to the power of hope - and a sister's love.
"If I can get it out there, somebody can share it to somebody else, and maybe something will come about," Kathleen said.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Department says it has no new leads in Bill Comeans' case.

Report: Miles tried to kill himself

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
A Richland County Sheriff's Department incident report released Tuesday indicates Kenny Miles tried to commit suicide in November.

The former USC running back was found on Nov. 4 lying in the doorway of his vehicle in a business park near Irmo. He had suffered a gunshot wound to his arm.
According to the report, Miles initially told investigators that he had been shot by a friend over a woman. After investigators verified an alibi provided by that friend, the 23-year-old admitted that he had lied, the report states.
Miles eventually admitted that he had shot himself in a suicide attempt and had intentionally lied to investigators about the incident, according to the report.
Miles turned himself in to authorities Tuesday morning. He was charged with giving false information to law enforcement officers.
Sheriff Leon Lott said he hopes the courts rule that Miles is responsible for paying the department back for its time and effort in investigating the false robbery report.
A judge set a $440 personal recognizance bond for Miles Tuesday morning. He will be allowed to live with his parents in Georgia and travel to South Carolina for physical rehabilitation.

Miles had been working as a support clerk at the South Carolina Attorney General's Office since August until requesting a 30 day medical leave shortly after the shooting.
Spokesman Mark Powell said Miles was working with community outreach and youth mentoring.
Miles played in all 13 Gamecock football games in 2012. The tailback was third on the team with 359 rushing yards on 104 carries.

As a redshirt freshman in 2009, Miles led the team in rushing with 117 carries for 626 yards.

For his career, he rushed for 1,341 yards on 315 carries, including four 100-yard rushing games. Two of his five touchdowns came in the 2011 Capital One Bowl win over Nebraska.
Miles graduated in May with a degree in criminal justice.
In March, Miles took part in Washington Redskins rookie camp, but is not currently listed on the team's roster.

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A woman is accused of leaving her daughter and her mentally handicapped nephew in a car on the interstate in freezing cold temperatures on Monday, according to an incident report from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
According to the incident report, Krystal Cannon, 25, of Woodruff, was involved in an altercation with her husband while driving down Interstate 26 and later left the car on the side of the highway with the children inside.
The husband said in the incident report that Cannon scratched his faced and pulled his hair before he got out of the driver's seat and she drove away with her daughter and nephew in the car.
The car was found by deputies a short time later parked on I-26 with its flashers on and the 3-year-old child and the mentally handicapped nephew in the car, but Cannon was not present, the report said.
Deputies said the temperature was 29 degrees with 24 mph winds.
The report said the car was said to be out of gas.
Cannon never returned to check on the children, deputies said in the report.
Cannon has been charged with neglect of a child or helpless person and criminal domestic violence, according to online records for the detention center.

The One Year Anniversary of My Mom's Death

A Year ago this day, i was met with the saddest news my heart could bear. News no one wishes to hear. That my dear Mother had passed away. it came as a shock to all who knew her. Eight hours earlier  around 1 AM  on September 9, 2012 seconds before I went to bed, which it would be the last time that I would live on 440 Rosewood Court in Mansfield, Ohio and with my mom before her death, I saw her in pain. My mother would ask me to go get two ice paks for her back. Then I went to bed afterwards.

The Next Day I watched My Mother Die. I called Some of my Famliy Members inculding my grand parents, my elder grandparents. then called 9-1-1, then I called my dad and I said that i need to live with my dad in Hudsonville,Michgan. A week later just two days after my mom's funeral i moved to Hudsonville,Michigan.

One year later, my heart still aches for the loss, cries out for the life and love it misses dearly. Mom, i miss you so much. I hope your wings you've gained are giving you the freedom you sought so dearly in life. I love you more than any of these words could eloquently express. Rest in Peace, My Dear Mother and know that you are still loved and missed dearly.
